Doing some more back posts from the Berlin days. Ashley and I both remember the food in Germany being not that great. Fun at first with all the sausage, bread, and beer. Although the beer stays fantastic the others get old really fast.
However, as with any place in the world, there is fantastic food and variety, you just gotta know where to look. The key to great food and variety in Berlin are the markets. This is especially true if you can find food stand run by turks. From a handful of stands we bought, fresh ravioli, cilantro, tomatoes, and some olive oil. Ashley cooked up an amazing main dish. I set out the other yummies we bought. Dolmas, couscous spiced salad, olivs, cheese stuffed peppers, a really yummy yellow dip thing, and soft fluffy white (not dark hard) turkish bread. It was all so yummy, and I still remember being overly full after we gobbled it all up.
