Istanbul Pancakes!

One thing we are learning, is that you really don't need much to do what you set your mind to. So many times we say we can't do this or that because we don't have the resources to do it. Well to that I stick my tongue out.

Certain things like baking soda and powder were very difficult to find. The milk here is also pretty poor. But hunting around the various stores we managed to find what we need. Mostly...

No maple syrup, but Ashley suggested we use this grape molasses instead. Not quite the same, but in terms of sticky sweet topping it did a pretty good job.

Bacon in Istanbul isn't really going to happen. Not while they stay Muslim that is. So instead we sliced up some cumin sausage and pan fried it like back bacon. So yummy!
