The malls in Turkey are a very strange thing. The mall itself is pretty normal. Yet, it isn't uncommon to have a mini amusement park just outside.
All kinds of rides, mainly geared for the kiddies are here.
Thought this made an interesting photo. 3 fully covered muslim women in traditional ware, watching their kids on a not so traditional octopus ride. The old and new clash is very Istanbul.
We didn't go on any rides, but enjoyed walking around. I should also mention that underneath the mall is a mini go-kart track. We came very close to renting karts for a bit and doing laps. Prices were a bit high for what we were willing to pay though. So yeah. Malls in Turkey are strange.
Wow. That is not how I was picturing Istanbul!
